FIXED LINE & FIBRE

Start with what is available at your door.

If you are considering a new fixed broadband connection or an upgrade, we’ll help you understand the options for your address and what changing would involve.

A postcode is the beginning, not the whole answer.

Available fixed broadband services depend on the precise address. Tell us the property details, your current service and what you would like to improve. We’ll discuss suitable options and explain the installation and equipment involved.

If fixed broadband does not meet your needs, we can also explore mobile broadband. The aim is a sensible connection for your home or business, rather than choosing a service simply because of its name.

A new home connection

Plan around the people using it and the rooms where WiFi needs to work.

A business line or upgrade

Tell us about cloud systems, calls, uploads and other work that depends on the connection.

A move or new premises

Raise installation and timing early so we can discuss the arrangements for the proposed service.

The broadband service and the home network.

On suitable fixed broadband installations, the TP-Link EX520v provides WiFi 6, wired Ethernet connections and VoIP capability. We’ll confirm how it connects to the proposed service and whether extra access points would help.

Having a good incoming line is one part of the setup. The router position, WiFi coverage and any business calling requirements deserve attention too.

A clear quote before you change.

We’ll set out the proposed service, relevant performance information, recurring charges, installation or activation costs, equipment and contract term before you decide.

Let us know if you use a telephone number, alarm, care device or other equipment attached to the existing line, so its requirements can be considered before any change.

A few questions you might have

Can I get full fibre?

Availability needs to be checked for your exact address. Send us the postcode and property details and we’ll explain the suitable options.

Will a new line fix WiFi upstairs?

Not on its own. If the signal is weak in part of the property, the WiFi layout may need attention alongside the broadband service.

Can we keep a telephone number?

Tell us about any number you want to retain before ordering. We’ll check the proposed transfer and voice arrangements; keep the current service in place until the plan is confirmed.

Let’s find what works for you.

Share your postcode and a little about your setup. We’ll talk through suitable options and prepare a tailored quote.
